We are Soaring in 2019

The Young People’s and Children’s Division (YPD) is a division of the African Methodist Episcopal Church (AME Church) that whose membership comprises of children and young people between the ages of 2 and 26. The YPD is under the auspice of the Women’s Missionary Society (WMS).

The Revived Energetic East Conference YPD (TREEC YPD) is a partition of the AME Church that governs the Gauteng areas of the East Rand, parts of Soweto, and the Vaal and the whole of Mpumalanga. TREEC is further divided into 11 Areas which are geographically convenient for meeting purposes.

We are a group of innovative, inspired and dynamic young people who are driven by Christ and wish to share His liberating gospel with the rest of the world. We are guided by Holy Scripture, the Doctrine and Discipline of the AME Church and the Constitution and Bylaws of our great organization. We believe that these aforementioned documents are tools that are used to mould us into better assets to society. We believe that we are blessed to be blessings to other people hence our efforts are never for selfish reasons but for the benefit and well-being of other people. We have always had faith that no matter how small a gesture, as long as it makes another person happy then we have fulfilled our purpose. We are fully immersed in the blood of the Lord and Savior Jesus the Christ and aspire to become the light and salt of the world. We provide leadership and training experiences to young people who attend meetings and events as a way of advancing their skills and improve on their current lives and become better people. We train young people to exude peace, happiness, confidence, excellence and greatness.

This Website aims to share our experiences as a family united in Christ and in love. We will use this Website to continue our Christian mission of preaching the liberating gospel to those who are captive and in the land of bondage.
